Today, @pipercarter sent a tweet saying “Twitter needs to come up with a way to mass delete all of these fake DM’s.“. Ironically I sent her a DM saying there is a way to mass delete twitter direct messages using a site called http://www.dmcleaner.com but it is not a feature from Twitter but a third party web tool.
@Scobleizer @HubertGAM @waynesutton RT @MizzCaliBaby RT @Imaryda: Twitter needs to come up with a way to mass delete all of these fake DM’s.
This had me thinking, as earlier today Twitter CEO was blogged about saying “Twitter lacks ‘clear long term vision” about the idea of Twitter launching premium features for brands, businesses and media outlets. Not just a mass delete Twitter Direct messages feature but other real-time monitoring, analytics, and spam filtering services. These features and more may be included in Twitter’s soon to be launch analytics product. In the mean time if you want to mass delete your Twitter direct messages, DMcleaner.com is a simple tool that gets the job done.
What tool do you use to mass delete your Twitter direct messages?
