Beyond The Lights is an upcoming movie written and directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood. Gina is well known for her work as director of acclaimed feature films, Love & Basketball and The Secret Life of Bees. Gina’s new movie Beyond The Lights is a story of a young female musician on the brink of stardom and struggles with the pressure of her new-found success. The movie stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Noni Jean, Danny Glover as Captain David Nicol and Nate Parker as Kaz Nicol.
During ESSENCE I had a chance to participate in a round table press Q&A with Beyond The Lights Star Nate Parker.
