Report: Google to Fund, Develop Wireless Networks in Africa

In an article from the Wall Street Journal it reports that Google is planning to fund,and develop wireless networks in emerging markets such as Africa. I think this a great move for Google and also will be very beneficial for the communities in Africa to grow and connect. We'll see a new wave of innovation from those emerging markets as more people will have access.

Google Inc. GOOG -1.07% is deep into a multipronged effort to build and help run wireless networks in emerging markets as part of a plan to connect a billion or more new people to the Internet.
