Announcing: Wayne Sutton joins Twine Interactive Agency as Social Media & Community Strategist

2009 has been an awesome year for me in the social space. Working with brands, large and small organizations, speaking/participating at conferences such as SXSW Interactive, BlogWorld Expo, IZEAFest, Internet Summit and The Social Media Business Forum, I’ve been privileged to be involved with some of the biggest events in social media. Today I’m pleased to announce that I’m joining Twine Interactive as their Social Media and Community Strategist. Twine Interactive (http://www.twineinteractive.com) is an internet marketing agency that was founded in 2006. I’ll be working with the Twine’s new director of marketing, Jennifer Griffin @jennafleur, and CEO, Jeremy Smith @JeremySaid. I’m really excited about the opportunity and looking forward to an exciting 2010 at Twine Interactive.

As some of you may know, in May of 2009, myself along with three partners launched OurHashtag. What does today’s announcement mean for OurHashtag? OurHashtag will still exist as an event planning company where we will manage the Social Media Business Forum, Triangle Tweetups, Ignite Raleigh and other NC based events.

In preparation for today’s announcement, Jeremy Smith and I recorded a video discussing this announcement and where I see social media going in 2010.
