Last week I had a chance to attend and speak at the annual Black Enterprise Entrepreneurs Conference in Columbus, OH. It was my third year in a row speaking and attending the conference and my first time visiting Columbus, OH. Like the previous two conferences I had an amazing time. The quality of the content was great along with the receptions, parties and meeting new people along with catching up with old friends.
My topic for this year’s conference was Taking Your Small Business Mobile, which you can see my slides here in a previous post here. I added some information about growing the entrepreneurship community in Columbus, OH since I was asked about entrepreneurship and startups from attendees throughout the day.
I posted a couple of instagram photos from the event such as when I met the founder of Black Enterprise Earl G. Graves Sr. and the president and CEO Earl G. Graves Jr. (Butch). Also when I met celebrities Robert Townsend and MC Lyte. Speaking of MC Lyte, I can’t tell you how big of a crush I have on her since 1988! I was hoping she would play Paper Thin at the party… you would have seen “socialwayne” go off! 🙂
