A few weeks ago I launched #GEOChat a weekly location-based twitter hashtag conversation about all things location. #GEOChat is just one out of three location-based twitter hashtag chats. There’s @4sqchat and LBSChat that take place on Monday and Thursday night at 9:00 P.M. EST. #GEOChat takes place every Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. EST and the response has been great so far with various individuals from marketing agencies, media outlets, and location-based services participating. Today I’m pleased to announce that I’m taking #GEOChat on the road as I travel to Austin, TX tomorrow for an OnStar event (more on that later). #GEOChat will be streamed live from Gowalla’s HQ with a spacial guest host from Gowalla. I’m still going to use the Twitter hashtag #GEOChat but adding video to the mix.
