Tonight on twitter, the adobe air twitter account posted the following.
“@adobeairme: With the QR Code generator application for Adobe® AIR™ you can create your own QR Codes for mobile tagging http://fb.me/uIdO92lh” Which takes you to the page below.
From the post: http://adobeair.me/qr-code-generator
With the QR Code generator application for Adobe® AIR™ you can create your own QR Codes for mobile tagging. The QR Code itself contains several types of information such as a weblink, a complete short message with target number, a phone number or simple text. With a camera phone one can read the information in the code and immediately start the corresponding action – like accessing a mobile website or sending a short message to the target number. That is where the code got its name from: “QR” for Quick Response. To be able to read these 2D barcodes you need a small software on your mobile phone. We recommend the free Kaywa Reader from our friends at Kaywa, which is available for many phones: http://reader.kaywa.com/en. Please note that this version of the application only works online, we may provide an offline version in the future. For more information about QR Codes in general, please have a look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QR_Code and for the latest news http://mobile.kaywa.com/ Also have a look at this coole Website for the use of the QR Code: http://www.petshopboys.co.uk/splash.html
If you’re looking for a quick and easy way to create a QR Code, this Adobe air app may be what you have been looking for.
