The year of fitness continues. Melinda and I have been talking about doing some races now that we’re both in shape. She had to fly out this morning for a keynote talk and couldn’t join this one. I saw the Napa half and quarter marathon was this weekend and I signed up a week ago. The longest I’ve ran in years was 5.5 miles last weekend and that felt good. A quarter marathon is 6.5 miles vs a 10k is 6.2 miles. Back in 2017 I ran a 10k so a quarter marathon would be my longest race ever. This morning , I ran the quarter marathon and it felt awesome. Running through Napa vineyards, up rolling hills was amazing. It feels good to be in shape and continue to set new goals and get it done. Now some sweets, work and start looking for the next race! But for today I can say, I completed my first quarter marathon at the Napa Half.
Last batch of photos from last weekend (9-16-23) The randoms of a weekend moto camping.🏕️ #photography #sonyzve10
Some of my photos from @themotosocial #sanfrancisco Tuesday night at @bmwmotorcycles_of_sanfrancisco with @saltflatmatt and @sosocycles. A big thank you to our host BMW Motorcycles and @baryakitchen for the great food. Fun times cohosting #themotosocialsanfrancisco with @aquamans_lens @alvin_dizon @changecatalysts . Thanks for coming out everyone!
Weekend (9-16-23) moto camping on a boat in a mountain recap part three. Ok, I’m not a fan of dispersed camping that’s why I book all my camping trips with @hipcamp so know what I’m getting into. Even so, sometimes hipcamp’s can be a hit or miss like Airbnbs. They always don’t look like the photos . Luckily this hipcamp was better than the photos and had extra items like an old fire truck and a boat looking over the mountain ledge that made for great photography practice. This place was a mood and would be great to host a small rally group in the future.🤔
Weekend moto camping on a boat in a mountain recap part two. 99.9% of the time when Melinda is traveling during a weekend and I plan a moto trip I go solo. My therapist has been advising me to get back being more social and participate in group activities or to invite friends to join me. I’m glad @aquamans_lens @willywong.ka & @mathyoumorales was part of the weekend adventures. Plus I was able to practice my moto photography 😂. We laughed, ventured out to unexpected mountain climbs, and learned new skills while improving our off road skills. Thanks! #photography #sonyzve10

Epic ADV moto camping, + twisites,+ off roading + sun rises and sunsets weekend with @aquamans_lens @willywong.ka & @mathyoumorales from the Bay Area to Shelter Cove, down Usal Beach Road and back. The trip. was inspired by the @crotp Annual Camp a couple of weeks ago when we camped at Usal Beach but didn’t make it up to Shelter Cove. Since then I was itching to explore another dirt trail along the CA coastline up Usal Beach road, so I booked a @hipcamp and so glad the guys decided to join. We had blast and now can say we camped by a boat, a fire truck on a mountain! 😂. Note, this road is semi advanced and highly recommend knobbies and an Adv bike. There was little to no sand and we were fine! lol . More photos and videos from this adventure coming all week. #photography #sonyzve10
