The Best of Twitter TV

Twitter has been on a winning streak recently showing their multimedia value due to the Royal Wedding and the death of OBL. Although being a geek / earlier adopter and being on Twitter since 2006 I still would have never guessed Twitter would be this big. Now Twitter has fully penetrated the living room via TV shows, news broadcast and commercials. To help the non geeks, TV producers and others who still after five years don’t see how to use or the value of Twitter, they created the The Best of Twitter TV youtube video to show TV Shows how to use Twitter…

While browsing Quora the user generated questions and answers site that’s created, edited, and organized by everyone who uses it I came across an interesting question. It was “(93/3) What is the all-time greatest failed Internet startup?

Some of the answers brought back memories of the first dot com bubble and included startup such as etoys.com, Amp’d Mobile, Boo.com, Friendster, and Pets.com. The amount of money the startups blew is just plain crazy. 200 million here, 150 million there. No wonder the Lean Startup movement has gained so much momentum.
