As you know I’m a big fan of QR Codes. Since mid last year QR Codes have been on the rise in terms of use by brands, and with the growth of smartphones more people are scanning QR Codes but many people are saying show me the numbers. JumpScan a company that combines all your contact and social media information in a QR Code provides us with some much needed QR Code statistics to show who’s using QR Codes, what mobile platform people are scanning QR Codes with, and some background information on the history of QR Codes in the infographic below.

I found a site called http://www.QRola.com that offers free qr codes for personal use as well as business & events.

There has been something larger than the one used in the Audi commercial. Last year a code was sighted and photographed on a large multistory apartment building I think in Korea, or at least somewhere else in Asia. The QR code led to a website with information about the complex, some of that was for prospective tenants if I recall correctly.
