#babysutton is born and renamed as Micah David Sutton

I’m proud to announce that yesterday LaToya Sutton gave birth to a handsome 7lb 12oz baby boy. His name is Micah David Sutton. No more will I be referencing my new son as #babysutton on twitter as his Twitter user name is @micahdsutton.

I’m really excited about the birth of our new son and the next chapter of our lives now as parents. LaToya and I a truly grateful to all of our family members, friends and online colleagues who have been supportive to us over the years. Your continued friendship and support will be needed as we’re both new to raising a child. With that being said, if you have any advice or tips please let me know in the comments.

    My advice: As the Micah gets older, give in and let the baby sleep in the bed with you! You might fall asleep in weird & awkward ways and/or wake up with body parts in your face…

    But you WILL get some sleep!

    Congratulations Wayne and Latoya and welcome to baby Micah. I have plenty of Daddy parent pro-tips to share – so feel free to ask. You will do fine, there is no instruction manual. Do what feels right. First Pro Tip, sing to that baby. They like that stuff and it’s okay to look stupid when you are a parent. We understand. :)

    Congratulations Wayne! No advice, per se. You’re going to get tons advice, a lot of it unsolicited, in the coming days/weeks/months/years… That said, the one thing I would say to Latoya & yourself is to take as many pictures, make as many videos and enjoy every moment – each one is indeed a blessing. We’re having Mary Grace’s 5th birthday party tomorrow and I can not fathom how it’s been five years already. Best wishes to you and your family!

    Fantastic! Congratulations to you and the Mrs! He’s adorable. How funny that your son is already more tech saavy than the majority of Americans. He’s even got his own twitter handle! My son is 4 months and he’s a video chat veteran but I can barely keep up with my own twitter account much less handle his too!
