One week from today Kanye West (@KanyeWest) much-anticipated new album entitled “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” will be released. Kanye, has been using Twitter to promote the album sending tweets to tracks on Fridays that he calls “G.O.O.D Fridays” to go with the name of his new label called “G.O.O.D. Music”. But it has been an interesting road for Kanye West and Twitter since 2009 let’s take a look back at how his Twitter journey has evolved.

As you can see since joining Twitter Kanye West has been very active but one thing is for sure, Kanye is being himself and loves Twitter for being a channel to allow him to freely tell his side of the story instead of everyone hearing what the media has to say.

Now what is Kanye West day on Twitter? On November 22 in honor of “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” album being released I’m going to post a Tweet for every hour of the day (24 tweets) with either a Kanye West Song title or quote from one of his songs with the hashtag #kanyewest. For example one tweet would look like this: #kanyewest “But I’m a champion, so I turned tragedy to triumph, Make music that’s fire, spit my soul through the wire” If you want to join/participate feel free to do the same or just post a tweet with the hashtag #kanyewest and try to keep it positive.

Why Kanye West day on Twitter? I know some of you may be tired of hearing about Kanye West and you have your own opinion of him and his personality. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and who to follow or not to follow on Twitter. Everyone has their favorite music artist too. As for me, one of my favorite music artist is Kanye West. I may or may not agree with everything he has said or done but he’s an artist, he’s creative and we both use Twitter. Therefore why not.
