My #2 most asked question: What equipment do I use for recording video & live streaming. Here’s the list and then some.

Samsung SCD103 Camcorder Review - Samsung MiniDV Camcorders

1. Samsung SCD103
2. Logitech QuickCam Ultra Vision SE Webcam(works with Mac & PC)
3. Apple MacBook builtin iSight webcam

Conference live streaming and chat software:

1. Ustream.tv
2. Mogulus.com
3. Cover-it-live (chat)
4. Meebo (chat)
5. WordPress.org (I know it’s not a software but a platform & I love it)

Video Recording:

1. Samsung SCD103
2. JVC hard disk camcorder (work camcorder)

Video Editing Software:
1. Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 (mac & pc version)
2. iMovie
3. Final Cut Pro (I’m still learning this app)

Photos:

1. Fujifilm Finepix S9100
2. Apple iPhone (yes the iPhone takes great photos)
3. Flickr (for hosting online photos & posting to your blog)

Microphone:

1. Radio shack 33-013 lapel microphone
2. I do have a handheld microphone also

Computer:

Apple MacBook (I love my Mac)
Dell Latitude (work computer)

What do I plan to buy in the future?

1. My own HD hard disk camcorder, I’m looking at the Canon Vixia HF100 via @gwenbell
2. Two wireless lapel microphones
3. A Portable Recorder

Well that’s it; are these the best devices for each purpose, sure not but that’s what I use. I’m hoping to have the new Cannon by the end of the year for the start of a new .TV show I’m producing.
